It has Arrived - Show Week!

The past year has flown by and the 64th Dance Season is coming to an end, which means its SHOWTIME!
It's time for the dancers to show off their new skills and hard work from the past year. It's their time to SHINE!

Showtime can be a crazy time for Dancers and Parents, but also lots of Fun. We have put together a few helpful tips to make your Rehearsal and Show experience go smoothly.

Tips for Rehearsals and Shows

When are Rehearsals?

Rehearsals Start 3:30 PM on Thursday May 30th and Friday May 31st - Doors OPEN @3:00 PM

When do our Dancers wear their Costumes?

Dancers will wear costumes for Both Rehearsals and Shows. We recommend Dancers arrive in their 1st costume. Need help with costumes and accessories feel free to ask the Dressing Room Volunteers for help.

What do I do for Hair and Make-up?

Hair: Must be worn up - Braid, Bun, Ponytail, Updo

Make-up: Recommended, but not required - Pink Blush, Blue Eye shadow, Mascara, Red Lipstick (Just a little color, not Stage Make-up)

My Dancer is in more than one number, What do we do?

No worries, we have helpful Dressing Room Volunteers that help dancers who have multiple numbers. Our volunteers are assigned to specific classes to help and our rehearsals are for students to practice quick changes.

Garment Bags will be your dancers and your LIFE SAVER
                 - Label Outside of Bag: Students Name, Number(s) in Show, Name of Class, Color of Costume.
                 - Costumes: Hang on individual Hangers, all accessories place in Ziplock bag per costume.  Please label bag(s), tape Ziplock bag to hanger

How do I know when to pick up my dancer after their last number?

Like us on Facebook and follow our Thursday and Friday Rehearsal Show Number updates. We will be posting time/number throughout rehearsals.

Dancers coming straight from school, don't feel that there is enough time to feed them? Save Time & Don't Stress, the Intensive Program Students are holding a Rehearsal Dinner Option on Thursday and Friday. $5.00 Dinner Includes: Cold Ham or Turkey Sandwich, Fruit Cup, Bag of Chips, and Bottle of Water.

Where does my student go the day of Show?

Dancers will wait in the O-Room during the Show. Students are to arrive by 12:00 & 6:00 PM. Assigned Row Parents will be sitting and signing in and out students (same as rehearsals)

Oh NO I forgot to get flowers!

No worries! The Garden Gate will be selling Flowers prior to BOTH shows in the Auditorium Waiting Area.

How do I pick up my Dancer after Show?

Dancers MUST be picked up in the O-Room and Signed out with the Assigned Row Parent. Students may be picked up during the show or after the show. Parents are not allowed into the O-Room until after Show, pick-up during show at O-Room Door.
